Tim Spurgeon has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tim began their career in 1997 as a Senior Manager at Nortel Networks, where they focused on channel development and strategic relationships in the healthcare vertical market. Tim negotiated contracts and established partnerships to drive revenue growth. In 2001, they joined Verizon Communications as a National Account Manager, managing capital equipment sales and services while leading sales teams in video-on-demand and HSIA for the hospitality industry. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as an Account Manager at Nortel Networks. Tim then moved on to Dialcom Networks, where they served as a Sales Director from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they worked at LodgeNet Interactive Corporation as Director of Major Accounts from 2010 to 2012. Tim then joined Sunray as Director of Sales. In 2015, they joined Vision Technologies as a Systems Application Engineer (SAE). Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Tellabs, a position they have held since April 2023. Tim also has experience in channel sales at Tellabs.
Tim Spurgeon attended Samford University from 1983 to 1985, and later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at Northern Illinois University from 1985 to 1988.
