Thomas Schmelzle is an experienced industrial designer currently working at SDI Technologies, Inc. since August 2022. Previously, Thomas served as a production designer at Nephros, focusing on medical and commercial filtration materials, as well as graphic materials for internal company use. Prior to that, Thomas worked as a graphic and web designer at Matrix Mirrors, where responsibilities included web redesign and UI/UX development. Thomas gained experience as a multimedia studio assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, maintaining large format printers and assisting users with digital media. In an earlier role, Thomas coordinated student exhibitions for the College of Design at Georgia Tech and also served as a CAD modeling consultant for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from Georgia Institute of Technology and participated in an exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology.
