Arsalan Sarwar

Arsalan Sarwar is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and information technology within the health benefits management sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at TELUS since March 2015, Arsalan leads the claims platform modernization and AI-driven transformation, overseeing a $60M+ P&L and a global team of over 250 engineers. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Information Technology at Aon Hewitt, where contributions resulted in the acquisition of 10 new benefits clients and $2 million in annual revenue. Arsalan has also held positions at Hewitt Associates and Computer Sciences Corporation, focusing on system implementations and maintenance. Educational achievements include a Data Science and Machine Learning certification from the University of Waterloo and an upcoming Azure AI Engineer certification from Microsoft Azure.
