Dwayne Benefield

Dwayne Benefield is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and entertainment sectors. Currently serving as Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President of Connected Home & Entertainment at TELUS since February 2021, Benefield oversees teams managing PureFiber Home Internet, Fixed Broadband, Optik & Pik TV, SmartHome Security, and other services. Prior roles include Vice President of Entertainment at T-Mobile, where Benefield led the launch of TVision, and Vice President and General Manager of PlayStation Vue at Sony Network Entertainment International, notably developing an Emmy award-winning service. Benefield's career also includes key positions at Google, The Walt Disney Company, and KPMG. Academically, Benefield holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School and a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from New Mexico State University.
