Mario M. serves as the Senior Vice-President and Treasurer at TELUS, a position held since January 2015, and has previously contributed in various executive roles including Chief Internal Auditor and Vice-President of Risk Management and as Managing Partner - Vice President of TELUS Global Ventures. Prior to TELUS, Mario M. was the Managing Director at Blaze Energy and held multiple significant positions at Vodafone, such as Vice-President of Marketing, Sales, Customer Care for the Consumer Business Unit and Chief Marketing Officer. Additionally, experience includes serving as Chief Marketing Officer at ONO and a long tenure at Vodafone where Mario M. was also Chief Marketing Officer from 1999 to 2006. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance/Marketing from the University of Alberta, Executive Leadership Programs from both Harvard Business School and Stanford University, and completion of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Directors Program (ICD.D).
