Soo Kok Leng

Mr. Soo joined Hewlett-Packard Pte Ltd in 1977 as an engineer and was with the company in Singapore and the United States for a total of 20 years. He subsequently worked for Falmac Ltd as Executive Director and Group GM, where he was responsible for worldwide business, and for 3Com Asia Pacific Pte Ltd as a Director. He helped set up 3Com Technologies, and was responsible for 3Com's regional supply chain and customer support in Asia Pacific.

Since 2002, Mr. Soo has been focused on management consulting. He has also been, and still is, actively involved in various boards of private and public companies as well as government agencies. Some of his current appointments include Chairman of CapitaLand Commercial Trust Management Ltd, Chairman of Singapore Storage & Warehouse Pte Ltd and Governor of Singapore-China Foundation. Mr Soo has been a Non-Resident Ambassador to Austria since 2006 and is also a corporate advisor to Temasek International.

Mr. Soo holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) from the University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. He is an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Engineering, Engineering & Technology Management.
