Pier Lim

Pier Lim is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in machine learning, data engineering, and software development. Currently serving as Vice President of Machine Learning and Data at Temasek, Pier Lim leads a team focused on developing machine learning applications and services, implementing agile methodologies and CI/CD processes. Prior to this role, Pier Lim completed a Master of Technology in Knowledge Engineering at the National University of Singapore, complemented by an internship at Scoot, where predictive forecasting models for air fare pricing were developed. Pierce Lim's earlier experience includes a tenure as Senior Software Engineer at DSO National Laboratories, where significant improvements in radar signal processing were achieved, and as Founder of Tenacious Frog, a successful music app development company. Additionally, Pier Lim held managerial positions at IMDA overseeing startup funding programs and at DSTA managing a major simulation project for the RSAF. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
