Katie Igartua, PhD, currently serves as Vice President of Translational Research at Tempus Labs, Inc., where responsibilities include leading Systems Biology and Translational Research teams, designing machine learning models for predicting drug response in oncology, and supporting the development of companion diagnostics. Prior experience includes various roles at UChicago Medicine, culminating as Director of Computational Biology, and earlier positions at Tempus and Bayer, focusing on pharmacokinetics and drug discovery. Katie earned a PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Chicago and a BS in Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut.
