Dan Bowden

Dan Bowden is an accomplished Cybersecurity and Technology Executive currently serving as the Global Business CISO at Marsh McLennan since March 2025. Previously, Dan held the position of Global CISO at Marsh from January 2022 to March 2025 and was the Vice President and CISO at Sentara Healthcare from September 2016 to January 2022, where Dan focused on enhancing digital security for mobile applications and cloud platforms. Dan is also an Advisory Board Member at Tenable, along with various other advisory roles in the cybersecurity sector. Recognized as one of the Top 100 CISOs Worldwide in 2017, Dan holds a Master’s Degree in Administration of Security and Justice from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the same institution, and an A.A.S. in Information Systems Management from New Mexico State University.
