Roberto Varela has extensive work experience in human resources, with a focus on leadership roles. Roberto is currently working as the Human Resources and Institutional Relations Senior Director at Tenaris since September 2022. Roberto Varela graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2003. In 2007, they obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources from Escuela Organizacion Industrial. Additionally, in 2014, they completed a program in Strategic Management at INALDE Business School. Roberto attended IMD in 2018 to study Strategic Leadership. Roberto also received certification as a member of the Board of Directors at DCH Colombia from DCH - International Organization of Human Capital Executives. In 2017, they pursued further education in Microfinance at the University of Colorado Boulder.
