Cussion Kar Shun Pang

Cussion Kar Shun Pang has served as the executive chairman of the board of directors of the company in April 2021 and he has been a member of the board of directors since May 2014. As the executive chairman, Cussion is responsible for setting the company’s long term strategy, overall coordination and management of the board of directors and the company. From July 2016 to April 2021, Cussion served as the chief executive officer of the company. Prior to that, Cussion was appointed the vice president of Tencent in 2013 and he joined Tencent in 2008. He has extensive experience across multiple businesses within Tencent including online games, e-commerce and social networking since 2008. Prior to joining Tencent, Cussion worked for many publicly listed companies in telecommunications, internet and media industries, such as PCCW (HKEX: 00008). Since his first Internet project in 1996, Cussion has experienced the various development stages of the Internet industry and has been managing many successful Internet businesses through the decades.

Cussion received a bachelor’s degree (honors) in mathematics, business administration and information systems from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
