Akshay Desai

Akshay Desai is an experienced executive in corporate strategy, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Tenneco since June 2024. Prior to this role, Akshay held the position of Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company from August 2013 to June 2024. Additional experience includes serving as an Operations & Manufacturing Consultant at Alcoa in 2012 and working at Boeing in various engineering capacities, including Aerodynamics and Flight Test Engineer and Propulsion Systems Engineer in 2011 and 2010, respectively. Akshay holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
