Peter Hizalev

Peter Hizalev is a Senior Principal Engineer specializing in AI Compilers at Tenstorrent since April 2025. Prior to this role, Peter held multiple engineering leadership positions at TetraMem, including Director of Engineering for ML Compiler and SDK, and was instrumental in developing machine learning technologies. As a co-founder and ML Compiler Lead at Tensil from September 2020 to September 2022, Peter contributed to innovative approaches for machine learning inference acceleration. Peter's career began with co-founding Sameroom.io, where as CTO, Peter focused on team chat solutions before leading engineering at 8x8 after its acquisition. Previous experience includes software architecture roles at Palo Alto Research Center and Mindjet, where Peter worked on notable projects in natural language processing and team collaboration tools. Peter holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lviv Polytechnic National University.
