Konstantine Makatsaria started their career in 2005 at JSC "ProCredit Bank" Georgia, where they worked as a Micro and Small Loan Officer. Konstantine then moved on to become a Small Loan Officer and later a Senior Loan Officer. In 2009, they joined ProCredit Bank as a Small Business Coordinator and later worked in the Business Client Department. In 2013, they joined TBC Bank as a Senior SME. In 2014, they joined Terabank as the Head of Micro and Small Business Segment and later became the Head of MSME Business Banking Department.

Konstantine Makatsaria has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Free University of Tbilisi, ESM Business School, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Economics from Tbilisi State University from 2003 to 2005. Konstantine also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tbilisi State University, which they earned from 1999 to 2003.
