Dan Thornton

Dan Thornton is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Factory Applications Engineer at Teradyne since March 2020, focusing on developing drivers for next-generation uWave instrumentation. Prior to this role, Dan worked at Analog Devices from May 2009 to December 2019 as a Staff Test Engineer, where responsibilities included developing software and hardware for testing high-volume MEMS digital accelerometers, 3D gyroscopes, and optical sensors. Dan's earlier experience at Teradyne from June 1998 to March 2009 involved serving as a domain expert for mixed signal automatic test equipment, encompassing the design, validation, and support of ATE systems and providing technical field support globally. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
