David Libby

David Libby serves as the Chief Technology Officer at TERC, a position held since 1994, where responsibilities include developing and leading strategic planning and initiatives in technology for education, overseeing product development and intellectual property, and managing the Zoombinis game. Previous roles at TERC include Director of Technology, where David led an IT department with a substantial budget and staff, and Director of Information Services, where an overall technology strategy was developed for the enterprise. Earlier in David's career, a role as Macintosh Consultant at the MIT Alumni/ae Association involved managing desktop computing for users. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earned between 1981 and 1986.
