Michael Cassidy is a Senior Researcher at TERC, where leadership in interdisciplinary, design-based research and professional development programs is focused on integrating robotics, engineering, game design, computational thinking, and systems thinking into K–12 STEM education. With involvement as PI, Co-PI, or evaluator on over 10 federally funded projects totaling over $10M, Michael drives project strategy and collaborates with teachers to align implementation with inquiry and project goals. Additionally, Michael has served as an Adjunct Professor at Brandeis University, Boston College, and Boston University, teaching courses on teacher research, qualitative research, and curriculum design. Michael earned a PhD in Educational Theory and Practice from the University of Georgia and holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Spring Hill College.
