Daryl Sharkey

Daryl Sharkey has a strong background in electrical engineering with experience in various roles and companies. Daryl started their career as a Student Engineer at JMG Systems Ltd where they designed DC control systems for corporations. Daryl then worked as a Placement Student at Terex Corporation before joining Axon Power & Control Limited as an Electrical Design Engineer. After that, Daryl joined Exyte as an Electrical Engineer before moving to Terex Finlay where they served as both an Electrical Engineer and a Senior Electrical Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Electrical Engineer at Terex Corporation.

Daryl Sharkey has a solid education history. Daryl attended Ulster University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Clean Technology Engineering. During their time at Ulster University, they also received a Diploma in professional practice with commendation, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Before attending university, they studied at Holy Cross College in Strabane from 2005 to 2012. There, they completed their A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, History, and Religious Education.
