Mauricio Alanis has extensive experience in the steel industry, currently serving as the Commercial Director for Appliances at Ternium since April 2008, where responsibilities include promoting the sale of steel products for major household appliance manufacturers in Mexico and the NAFTA region. Previously, Mauricio held roles as Sales Manager for both Steel for Appliances and Electrical Steel, focusing on sales targets of 340 k metric tons and 190 k tons respectively. Prior to Ternium, Mauricio contributed as a member of Cluster de Electrodomésticos from 2014 to 2016 and served as the Industrial Sales Manager at Galvak from 1998 to 2005, promoting galvanized steel sales. Earlier career experience includes positions as a Product Engineer at Galvak and Industria Automotriz, providing engineering support and managing product development. Mauricio holds a degree in Mechanical Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
