Sophia Gonzalez

Sophia Gonzalez, CPA, currently serves as R2R Manager at Millicom (Tigo) since November 2022. Prior to this role, Sophia held various positions at Banco Azul de El Salvador from June 2014 to October 2022, including Subgerente de Riesgo Integral, Jefe de Riesgo Integral, Jefe de Riesgos Banca de Personas, Coordinadora de Riesgo Integral, and Analista de Riesgo Integral. Additionally, experience at EY as Assurance Staff from September 2012 to May 2014 and as an Audit Intern in early 2011 has contributed to a strong foundation in accounting and risk management. Sophia holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting, both from Wake Forest University.
