Terp Thon
Carlie Wiseman is a dedicated professional with experience in patient access services, executive partnerships, and legal assistance. Currently serving as a Patient Access Service Representative at CalvertHealth since May 2022, Carlie efficiently manages high-volume calls for centralized scheduling, conducts comprehensive patient interviews, and communicates with hospital staff. As the Executive Partnerships Chair for Terp Thon since September 2021, Carlie engages with organizations and sponsors, fosters partnerships, and facilitates fundraising activities. At the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism, Carlie works as a Checkout Desk Employee, overseeing equipment management and training new hires. In a previous role as an Assistant Attorney at The John Hall Law Group, Carlie coordinated client appointments and managed legal files. Carlie is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology at the University of Maryland, expected to graduate in May 2024.

Terp Thon is a student-run organization at the University of Maryland that supports patients and families fighting pediatric illness in their local community. As leaders of the Miracle Network Dance Marathon movement, they unite their campus and the local community to inspire hope and healing in the children and families at Children’s National, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
