Danny Van Clief serves as the Chief Development Officer at TerraForm Power since May 2025, following the acquisition of the Sun Tribe Development team, a leading entity in renewable energy. Previously, as the Chief Executive Officer of Sun Tribe Solar from August 2019 to May 2025, Danny founded and led the company to become a prominent player in utility-scale solar development, completing 800 megawatts and establishing over 4 gigawatts of pipeline. Before Sun Tribe, Danny held various senior roles at Coronal Energy, including President and Chief Operating Officer, managing substantial solar portfolios and leading significant divestitures. Danny's career commenced at HelioSage Energy, contributing to its growth in the solar sector, and also includes experience in client services at Musictoday Inc. Danny holds an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a BA in History from the University of Virginia.
