Christopher Scott

Christopher Scott serves as General Counsel at Terramera since January 2020, overseeing the legal affairs across diverse industries, including commercial, employment, corporate, and intellectual property matters. Scott has progressively advanced within Terramera, previously holding roles such as Senior Director, Legal and IP, Director of Intellectual Property, and Patent Attorney, where responsibilities encompassed the management of IP strategy, licensing, patent portfolio management, and providing practical legal advice to boards and executives. Prior experience includes serving as Intellectual Property Counsel at D-Wave Systems Inc. and working as an associate and articling student at Oyen Wiggs Green & Mutala LLP, the largest independent intellectual property law firm in western Canada. Christopher Scott holds a J.D. from the University of Victoria and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Northern British Columbia.
