Anne Demma

Anne Demma is a Principal Materials Engineer at TerraPower, specializing in corrosion and mechanical properties of ferritic-martensitic steels. Previously, at Kairos Power, Anne managed projects and materials teams, contributing to the DOE Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program and supporting reactor design through extensive materials testing. An impactful tenure at the Electric Power Research Institute included leadership in international materials research and significant growth of multiple programs in materials reliability and corrosion research. Anne's foundational work began with a Graduate Research Assistant position at the University of California, Davis, following various engineering roles that fortified expertise in materials science and engineering, underscored by a Master of Science degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the same institution, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s in Materials Science Engineering.
