Trieu Nguyen

Trieu Nguyen is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in stress analysis and mechanical design. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineering Specialist in Stress Analysis at Terrestrial Energy since November 2021, Trieu previously worked at N-Cubed Engineering from January 2018 to November 2021, where responsibilities included designing and qualifying pressure equipment according to ASME, ASCE, and CSA B51 codes. Prior roles include Stress Analyst at Candu Energy Inc., focusing on primary heat transport systems, and Test Engineer at AECL, where design and testing programs for reactor systems were developed. Early career experience encompasses mechanical engineering at Husky Injection Molding Systems, specializing in pre-form molds and cooling systems. Trieu holds a Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing and Design from McMaster University, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University, which included a professional internship.
