Dave Gomes

Dave Gomes is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Terumo BCT since January 2001. In this role, Dave manages process development teams focused on manufacturing and engineering process improvement, as well as research and development. Prior to this position, Dave held various roles at Terumo BCT, including Engineering Manager, where leadership was provided to the manufacturing engineering team for blood bag production improvement across the US and Europe, and Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on enhancing manufacturing processes through advanced techniques. Previous experience includes being a Quality Engineer at Gambro, ensuring the quality of disposable devices for extra-corporeal dialysis, and manufacturing engineering roles at Delco Electronics and Rochester Products Divisions of General Motors, contributing to process development and plant support. Dave began their career as an Engineering Apprentice at Precise Tool & Manufacturing Inc. and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
