James Arthur

James Arthur possesses extensive experience in software development and engineering management, currently serving as the Manager of Engineering Software Development at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies since November 2015. In this role, James leads a team of up to 15 direct reports, overseeing recruitment and fostering career development. Previously, as a Principal Software Systems Engineer, James effectively managed full-stack remote software development teams and played a crucial role in eliciting user needs, system architecture, and risk management for medical devices. Prior experience includes roles at GE, where James led SCRUM teams to enhance condition-monitoring software, and internships in software engineering and research during academic tenure. James holds a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.
