Alejandra Bogantes is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience at MicroVention-Terumo, currently serving as the Director of Global Business Excellence. In this role, Alejandra leads the development and execution of business excellence strategies across global operations, specifically overseeing the BEX and Information Systems departments for the California and Costa Rica facilities. Previous positions include Director of Operational Excellence and Senior Manager of Operational Excellence, where responsibilities included implementing best-in-class operational strategies and managing significant improvement projects utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Alejandra’s career began at Hologic, Inc. as a Senior Quality Engineer, providing expertise in quality system compliance and statistical techniques. Alejandra holds a Licentiate Degree in Industrial Production Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
