Steve Purser

Steve Purser serves as the Product Regulatory Compliance & International Technical Director at Tesco since March 1993. With extensive experience in the retail and food industries, Steve has held various leadership roles including Group Safety Director and Head of Group Operational Risk, managing health and safety, operational risk, and food safety standards across Tesco. Steve has successfully innovated product developments, led significant risk management transformations, and established quality assurance teams in international markets. Prior to Tesco, Steve worked at Exova Group Limited as a Senior Environmental Executive and at Wolverhampton City Council as a Senior Environmental Health Officer. Steve's education includes a BSc in Environmental Health and multiple diplomas in health and safety disciplines.
