Tim Gass

Tim Gass has extensive experience in regulatory policy and compliance, having served as Head of Regulatory Policy and Response at Tesco from April 2015 to July 2020, and as Regulatory Compliance Manager in a full-time capacity. Currently, Tim is a Non-Executive Director at the Chartered Trading Standards Institute since September 2019. Previous roles include Principal Trading Standards Officer at Hertfordshire County Council from September 2010 to April 2015, Trading Standards Officer at Westminster City Council from July 2005 to September 2010, and Fair Trading Officer at Cambridgeshire County Council from January 2003 to July 2005. Tim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Prehistory and Archaeology from The University of Sheffield and a degree in Consumer Affairs and Trading Standards from the Trading Standards Institute, earned between January 2002 and January 2014.
