Nidhi Unnithan is a highly experienced data professional with a solid background in data engineering and analysis. Currently serving as a Staff Data Engineer at Tesla since July 2017, Nidhi has progressed through various roles, including Senior Data Engineer and Data Analyst. Prior experience includes a tenure at Volvo Group as a Diagnostics Services Data Analyst, where Nidhi developed VBA macros for regression analysis on diagnostics data, and created visualizations in Microsoft Power BI. Additionally, they market and sell vehicles to consumers through a network of company owned stores and galleries. Tesla operates as two segments: one focused on automotive which includes its Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X vehicles, and the second on energy generation and storage which includes Powerwall and Megapack lithium-ion batteries. Today, Tesla is led by Elon Musk, however, other notable founders of the company are Martin Eberhard, JB Straubel, Marc Tarpenning, and Ian Wright. The company has manufacturing facilities in the US, Germany and China and has operations across Asia Pacific and Europe. Tesla is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
