Jim Simone has extensive experience in telecommunications and IT network management, currently serving as the IT Network WAN Telecom Manager at TETRA Technologies since May 2004, focusing on voice migration projects and SIP/VoIP implementation. Previously, Jim held the role of Manager Global Technical Service at Worldcom/MCI from April 1995 to June 2004, overseeing technical post-sales service for over 20 global and national accounts with significant revenue. Jim began a career in telecommunications as a Senior Lead Telecommunications Engineer at Coastal Energy (El Paso) from April 1987 to April 1995, where responsibilities included designing wide area networks and negotiating service agreements. Early career experience at MCI from August 1978 to December 1986 involved various operational roles, including Regional Control Center Manager. Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Computer from the University of Houston and has supplemented education with management training and various technical schooling.
