Michael Hersch

Michael Hersch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager at Tetra Tech since 2020, Michael leads various aspects of the OPG Pickering Nuclear Refurbishment project, including the preparation of over 200 modification design descriptions. Prior to this role, Michael spent 14 years at Ontario Power Generation, where responsibilities included managing performance improvement programs at Darlington Nuclear Refurbishment, overseeing projects related to feeder replacement, and managing tooling portfolios necessary for reactor core component handling. Michael holds a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from Queen's University.
