Ian Lloyd is an experienced professional in web accessibility and development, currently serving as the Principal Accessibility Specialist at TetraLogical since May 2025. Previously, Ian held positions at TPGi as a Principal and Senior Accessibility Engineer, and at Apple as an Accessibility Engineer, where consultancy and auditing for accessibility best practices were prominent responsibilities. Ian also founded Accessify.com, one of the earliest online accessibility resources, and authored the best-selling book "Build Your Website the Right Way with HTML and CSS." Ian's extensive background includes roles in front-end development and web consulting, notably at Nationwide Building Society and Trafalgar Travel, where a strong focus on semantic, standards-compliant markup emphasized web accessibility. Education includes A Levels in French, German, and Business Studies from Barton Peveril 6th Form College.
