Matt Ekman

Matt Ekman serves as the Director of Generics R&D Operations & Strategy at Teva Pharmaceuticals since November 2018, focusing on enhancing R&D processes. Previous roles include Associate Director of Technical Project Management at Smith & Nephew, where accountability centered on traditional negative pressure wound therapy devices, and Innovation and Product Development Manager at Bespak, where leadership contributed to significant team growth and product launches. Matt's career began as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Agilent Technologies and includes experience as a Process Engineer at Viasystems and a Medical Device Specialist at sanofi-aventis. Matt holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Stress Analysis from Loughborough University and a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
