Josh Ward has extensive work experience in research and development, manufacturing engineering, and process engineering.
Josh is currently the Director of Research Development at Tex Tech Industries, a position they have held since November 2021.
Before that, they worked at Abbott as a Manufacturing Engineer III from April 2020 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for sourcing, testing, and validating new equipment for COVID testing devices, increasing the processing capacity by over double. Josh also developed optimal parameters for Campbell Flow Wrapping through design of experiments (DoE) and sourced, validated, and qualified new packaging equipment.
From March 2016 to April 2020, Josh worked at Tex Tech Industries as a New Product Development Engineer.
Prior to that, they gained experience in process engineering at Fairchild Semiconductor. Josh served as a Process Engineer from May 2008 to March 2016, specializing in thin films deposition and CMP processes. Before that, they worked as a Process Engineering Technician from May 2006 to May 2008, where they supported various process areas and collaborated with process engineers to ensure product quality.
Josh Ward attended the University of Southern Maine from 2000 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
