Del Doughty

Del Doughty currently serves as the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Southern Indiana since July 2022 and has held the position of Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education at Texas A&M University-Texarkana since August 2016. Prior to these roles, Del Doughty was the Interim Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of English at Huntington University from August 1996 to August 2016, where responsibilities included teaching courses in academic writing, world literature, and critical thinking, as well as chairing the humanities division. Del Doughty earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Penn State University between 1991 and 1995 and a Master of Arts in Humanities from the University of South Florida in 1991.
