Michael Sherrod

Michael Sherrod serves as the William M. Dickey Entrepreneur in Residence at Texas Christian University since July 2011, engaging with students and faculty to promote entrepreneurial thinking. As the Founder and Director of Black Dove Media, LLC, initiated in April 1997, Michael leads a think tank aimed at enhancing the fusion of content, technology, and distribution within the publishing industry. Michael has also held various leadership roles, including President and Co-Founder of AddLibra Corporation from March 2013 to June 2022, and significant board positions with organizations such as Texas Tribune, where Michael served as both a member and publisher, and Urban Libraries Council as Chair. Michael's educational background includes an MBA from TCU Neeley School of Business, an MA in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a BA in Philosophy and other subjects from the University of Notre Dame.
