Sonya Cameron

Sonya Cameron is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community health and social services. Currently serving as Program Manager for Faith and Community Health Integration at Texas Health Resources since January 2022, Sonya collaborates with leadership to advance strategies addressing social determinants of health and to promote wellness through community engagement. Prior to this role, Sonya worked as a Social Worker and Community Liaison for the Dallas Independent School District from January 2014 to June 2019, advocating for students and connecting them with essential resources. Other notable positions include Social Worker at the Texas Department of State Health Services and Program Manager at Catholic Charities of Mississippi, focusing on health ministry and support for Hurricane Katrina survivors.
