Xiao Li

Xiao Li is currently serving as an Assistant Investigator at the Texas Heart Institute since August 2020, where the focus is on utilizing advanced techniques such as RNA-Seq and CLIP-Seq to explore lncRNA/protein complexes and their impact on transcriptome and cell identity. Previously, Xiao Li held the position of Senior Scientist at BGI Group from October 2017 to November 2018 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC San Diego from March 2014 to October 2017. The academic journey includes a PhD candidacy at the University of Iowa, achieved in August 2012, following studies at Texas A&M Health Science Center, and earlier foundational education with a B.S. in Biotechnology from East China Normal University.
