Texas Performing Arts
Jason Huerta has extensive experience in the performing arts industry, currently serving as Fabrication Technical Manager at Texas Performing Arts since November 2016, with previous roles including Operations Manager and Associate Scenic Studio Supervisor. Prior to this, Jason worked as a Draftsman at Goodman Theatre and as a Shop Carpenter through a Graduate Assistantship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Other notable positions include Assistant Technical Director and Shop Foreman at Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and Theater Support Service Coordinator at South Texas College. Jason holds a degree in Scenic Technology with a focus on Technical Direction from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a degree in Communication with a concentration in Theatre from The University of Texas-Pan American.
