Senior Halcyon Propulsion Engineer at Texas Rocket Engineering Lab

Maxwell Gleason serves as the Lead Propulsion Software Engineer at Texas Rocket Engineering Lab since September 2023, where responsibilities include developing QUASAR, a quantitative analysis system that significantly improves data analysis turnaround times. Previously, in roles such as Senior and General Propulsion Engineer at TREL, Maxwell enhanced data operations and created custom data analysis applications. Additionally, experience as Aerodynamics Engineer at Longhorn Rocketry Association involved using Ansys Fluent for aerodynamic analysis of a Spaceport America Cup rocket, and as Hardware Engineer CAD Lead at Wisconsin Autonomous, Maxwell spearheaded the design and manufacturing of mounting equipment for sensors on an autonomous vehicle. Maxwell is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and has previously studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
