James Selmon

James Selmon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic operations across various sectors. As the Founder and Chair of The Jose since December 2002, Selmon has demonstrated entrepreneurial expertise. In current roles at Texas Children's Hospital as Sr. Advisor of Strategic Business and Director of Operations, Selmon provides intellectual leadership and oversees supply chain management and multidisciplinary project teams. Additionally, Selmon serves as Facilities Supervisor at Texas Southern University, contributing to one of the largest historically black universities in the nation. Previous experience includes leadership positions at the U.S. Small Business Administration, where Selmon managed leadership development initiatives, and DATA COM, where sales coordination and marketing strategies were primary responsibilities. An educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Bowie State University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Hampton University.
