Mark Cowan

Mark Cowan is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in managing and inspecting significant construction projects. Currently serving as Construction Manager III at Texas State University since 2014, Mark oversees compliance with construction documents and regulations, while facilitating interactions among stakeholders. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Senior Construction Inspector and Project Reviewer at the Texas Historical Commission from 1999 to 2014, engaging in historical research and review of preservation projects. Mark's earlier career includes positions as a Design Assistant at Graham B. Luhn, Architect, and as a Field Supervisor at Texas A&M University. Mark holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University.
