Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes has extensive experience in information technology and management, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Technology Resources and Deputy CIO at Texas State University since February 2006. Prior roles include CIO at the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources from 2002 to 2006 and IT Director/Application Development Manager at the same organization from 2000 to 2002. Mark's career also includes positions such as Assistant Chief Information Technology Officer at Northern Arizona University, Policy and Planning Analyst at the University System of New Hampshire, and several roles at the University of New Hampshire and First National Bank. With a solid background in computer programming and operations, Mark has built a strong foundation in technology leadership over several decades.
