Matthew Rea is a Multimedia Journalist at Texas Tech University since July 2022, previously serving in the Alumni Service Corps at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory from August 2021 to May 2022. From August 2017 to July 2021, Matthew worked as a Student Worker at 12th Man Productions, where responsibilities included serving as a camera operator, replay operator, and technical director for live broadcasts on platforms such as ESPN, SEC Network, and SEC Network+. Additionally, Matthew produced content for various sports teams and was involved in the production of "The Pulse," which airs on ESPNU. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, completing studies in 2021, and received recognition as Student of the Year for 2018-2019 and Student of the Month in January 2019.
