Joe Phillips

Joe Phillips currently serves as the Director of Engineering Flight Test at Textron Aviation, a position held since June 2017, where responsibilities include directing flight test operations for a range of products, from Cessna and Beechcraft single-engine pistons to Part 25 jets, covering all stages from conceptual design to certification and ongoing product support. Prior to this role, Joe Phillips has been with Cessna Aircraft Company since February 1992, directing the Structural & Aero Sciences teams in their efforts related to design, development, certification, and field support of Textron Aviation products. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from Wichita State University.
