John Salzman

John Salzman is an experienced engineer currently serving as an AES Mechanical Installations Engineer for Avionics and Electrical Systems at Textron Aviation since June 2024. Previously, John led the Mizzou Space Program as a Project Manager, successfully guiding the team in the 2024 Spaceport America Rocketry Competition. John's prior experience includes a role in technology development engineering at Thermavant Technologies, where John contributed to hands-on testing of oscillating heat pipes and system design. Additionally, John held key positions at the Mizzou Space Program, including Vice President and Director of Communications, and completed a motion and robotics engineering internship at Nidec Motor Corporation. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating in May 2024.
