Textron
Frank Connor was named Textron's executive vice president and chief financial officer in August 2009. Connor oversees Textron's Finance functions as well as Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategy, Information Technology and International. In addition to chairing the company's Finance Committee, he serves on Textron's Executive Leadership Team.
Connor is a 22-year veteran of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where, most recently, he was managing director and head of Telecom Investment Banking. Prior to that, he served as Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s chief operating officer of Telecom, Technology and Media Investment Banking. During his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Connor advised companies across a wide range of industries and executed numerous public and private financings and strategic transactions.
Connor earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. Connor is a director of Factory Mutual Insurance Company (FM Global) and of Cohen & Steers, Inc.
