Ufuk Karani is a seasoned professional in chemical and energy engineering with extensive experience in project management and process engineering. Currently serving as a Project Manager, Project Engineering Manager, and Process Engineer at TGE Gas Engineering since March 2015, Ufuk Karani specializes in the development of conceptual designs and process simulations, including heat and material balances. Previously, as a Student Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Ufuk Karani investigated biocrude production from algal biomass, created a kinetic model for hydrothermal liquefaction, and conducted literature surveys. Prior experience at TOROS TARIM SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. involved operational management of auxiliary plants, extensive knowledge of phosphorus-based chemical processes, and productivity improvement initiatives. Ufuk Karani holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical and Energy Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
